Steamed Pot Rice with Chicken and Mushrooms

Ingredients1 cup Jasmine long grain rice
250 grams Chicken thigh – chopped
100 grams Dried shitake mushrooms - soaked for 1 hour and slice into pieces
2 Chinese sausages - sliced
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
2 tbsp Soy sauce
Dash of sesame oil
White pepper to taste
Spring onions – chopped for garnishing

Preparation1. Marinate the chicken and mushrooms with oyster, soy sauce and sesame oil.
2. Wash the rice and place the rice in the condensate steam tray or use a serving vessel of your choice. Add one cup of water to the rice.
3. Place the chicken, mushrooms and sausages in the rice.
4. Steam at 100°C for 20 minutes.
5. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
