Celebrating its 120th Anniversary in 2019, Miele launched its most holistic range of innovative kitchen appliances – Generation 7000 – in Singapore on 16 September 2019.
Designed with more innovations than ever before, the enhanced intuitiveness and unique technology redefines the home cooking experience to be more pleasurable, convenient and stress free. Each appliance is uniquely crafted with timeless and stylish design, reflecting the dedication and commitment to deliver the best in quality and result. Miele believes that it takes nothing less than extraordinary to satisfy consumers with the highest standard.
In celebration of the launch of Generation 7000, Miele Singapore invited business partners and Media guests to a week of private events at the Miele Lounge. A toast by Ms. Syndy Neo-Khoo, Managing Director of Miele Singapore and Malaysia, commenced the event, followed by a reveal and presentation of not only the KM 7897 FL full surface induction hob with patented intelligent pan recognition feature and positioning aid, but also the baking and steam cooking appliance range and its new features such as TasteControl, where the oven door opens automatically at the end of the cooking cycle to rapidly cool the oven. It is now also possible to check in on your delicious creations anytime, anywhere thanks to FoodView – an in-oven camera which relays HD images to your smartphone via the Miele@mobile app, and also a unique motion-detecting technology, MotionReact, where oven lights and displays are turned on and end-of-cycle signals are automatically switched off when you approach them.
A revolutionary technology, the Dialog Oven, was also revealed during the event when guests were treated to a full course meal and demonstration, which was the ideal way to experience the ground-breaking innovation of the Dialog Oven. For the very first time in the domestic appliance industry, sensors maintain a constant dialogue with the ingredients to cook food in its entirety, rendering even the most complex dishes effortless. Using electromagnetic waves at a low level of power and in a broad frequency spectrum, this is the key innovation how the oven communicates and adapts as it cooks. Various fresh ingredients for a complete meal can even be placed together on an oven tray and are all finished to perfection at exactly the same time – and up to 70% faster than using conventional cooking methods, without compromising quality.
With the Dialog Oven, Miele Singapore’s In-house Chef, Lennard Yeong, demonstrated how fish can be cooked in a block of ice without melting the ice, how a suckling pig can be roasted in the Dialog Oven to perfection, and how soufflés can easily be baked at home. And along with Chef Lennard, Chef Kirk Westaway from Jaan also graced us with his presence on a number of sessions – where a different menu was specially curated in order to entice our guests with this culinary excellence.
Generation 7000 appliances are available at Miele Experience Centre, Miele retail partners and on the Miele Webshop.
